The Johnson Farm is located in Gallatin, Missouri, which is 72 miles north of Kansas City, Missouri. Our goal is to help other 4-H and FFA members show top quality pigs without a top quality price. Our son, Tanner, currently owns 16 sows and 5 purebred boars. We have several pigs that will work great for the county fairs, state fairs and even some national contenders.
Our son started showing pigs a few years ago. We quickly learned it is not a cheap hobby to jump in to. Our son wanted to make it his goal to provide others with an opportunity to show animals without a major investment. To learn more about Tanner and his goals visit USDA blog about him.
Our pigs are raised all naturally with mud between their toes the way it should be. Pigs are only given necessary medications to keep them healthy not to provide false imagery. No paylean is used on this farm. We raise pigs you would want to eat not just look at. Perfect pigs for true 4-Hers and FFA showers.
